Description:
This varietal of bordeaux origin is particularly diffused on international level thanks to its high adaptability. In our region this grape ripens with ease and the harvest normally takes place in the middle of September. In the vineyard, only the best grapes are selected, based on the position of the vine and the organoleptic characteristics that we want to obtain.


Organoleptic characteristics:
COLOUR: Intense ruby red with garnet red reflexes
AROMA: Exquisite aromatic bouquet, complex with plums, blueberry and a hint of thyme
TASTE: Of good structure, tasty, warm and velvety, remembers blackberries and cherries

VINIFICATION:
Maceration on the skins for two weeks at a temperature of about 26°C. Completed alcoholic fermentation is followed by the malolactic fermentation and maturation in casks for some months, ages then in barrique for one year before bottling.
